Meeting in China

L( onze chinese agente) belt mij op om maandag af te spreken . Ik vertel haar dat ik de ganse dag beschikbaar ben dus het maakte mij echt niet uit of we voormiddags of s namiddag af spraken. Ze antwoordt mij dat ook voor haar alles ok is, dus ik krijg echt wel de keuze.  Het leek mij praktischer om in de voormiddag af te spreken dus stel ik 10h voor. Waarop ze mij antwoordt dat het misschien beter is voor de landlord om s namiddags een meeting te houden. Hoezo ??? ik dacht dat ik mocht kiezen ?
Dat is zo typisch voor de Chinezen.

L, our househunter, called me to meet next Monday. I told her that I’m the whole day available so it really doesn’t matter what time we meet. She answers me that also for her there are no time restrictions so I can decide what time I would be there.  I taught it was more practical to set up a meeting in the morning so I suggest 10 am. She answers me that it is better meet in the afternoon to be sure that the landlord can be there. What ??? I thought I could decide ? This is soo typical chinese
