Dafen

2h rijden vanuit guangzhou, ligt er een kunstenaarsdorpje Dafen. Ik had Mr P gevraagd ons er naartoe te rijden. in onze auto is 1 plaats vrij; hij mocht ook zijn vrouw meenemen. Hij heeft mij daarvoor wel 10 keer bedankt.
Dafen is een schat van reproducties en originele met dan ook soms originele prijzen. Gelukkig hadden we onze chauffeur om te helpen afdingen.
het verschil tussen onze chauffeur en zijn vrouw is, dat hij nooit voorstelt om het eten te betalen aangezien ik taitai ben. zijn vrouw wou het eten wel betalen. toen we de rekening vroegen, zat ze al klaar met haar centjes. natuurlijk hebben we voor haar betaald.
Ergens had ik het gevoel dat de chauffeur ook graag hier wil laten werken. hij vertelde aan sethje dat zijn vrouw ayi was. Steeds opnieuw als hij met sethje in de buurt van zijn vrouw kwam, zei hij 'hallo ayi'
Zijn vrouw was heel verzorgd, had een vriendelijk gezicht en was discreet. Maar om ze in huis te nemen als ayi,... dat is misschien toch om problemen vragen. want als ik problemen heb met 1 van de 2,...
De ganse dag was hij heel hoffelijk tegen zijn vrouw ( in de mate dat chinezen hoffelijk zijn voor hun vrouw) tot de laatste 10 min. hij zetten haar in de buurt van hun huis af. Maar de arme vrouw werkt op 100 m van haar huis, doet haar boodschappen op 50 m van haar huis, dus die wist niet waar ze was. ik zei hem dat hij haar naar huis mocht voeren. maar hij vond dat niet nodig. hij brulde haar aan dat ze op het einde van de straat naar links moest stappen en dat ze van daar wel zou herkennen.
Hij heeft mij eens verteld dat hij zijn vrouw niet graag ziet, maar moest mijn echtgenoot mij zo aanbrullen,... ik zou ook spaarzamer zijn met mijn liefde.
 

2h drive from guangzhou, there is an artists' village called Dafen.  I had Mr P asked us to go away. 1 place in our car is free; he could bring his wife.  He thanked me 10 times for it.
 Dafen is alibaba's cave for reproductions and originals with sometimes original prices.  Fortunately we had our driver to help bargaining.  
the difference between our driver and his wife, that he never proposes to pay for the food since I am taitai.  his wife wanted to pay for the food. when we asked for the bill, she was ready with her pennies. of course we paid for her.  
Somehow I had the feeling that the driver would also like that his wife worked here. he told Seth that his wife Ayi was.  when he and sethje were near his wife, he said again and again 'hello Ayi'  
His wife was very cared , had a friendly face and was discrete. But for taking her in my home as Ayi, ... maybe that's looking for trouble. because if I have problems with 1 of the 2 ...  
The whole day he was very courteous to his wife (to the extent that chinese are courteous to their wives) except the last 10 min  He dropped off her near their home. But the poor woman works 100 meters from her house, doing her shopping at 50 meters from her house, so they did not know where she was.  I told him he could dropp her off at her home. but he did not found that necessary that. he roared at her that she had to turn left at the end of the street and from there she would recognize.  
He once told me that hedoesn't love his wife, but if my husband would yell at me like he did ... I would also would be more economical with my love.
