leshan

de budha van Leshan is gigantesk.  eerst hadden we ticket gekocht om binnen het complex te gaan maar buiten dat je een foto kan nemen dich tegen zijn hoofd of aan zijn voeten, raad ik iedereen aan om de boot te nemen. eerst en vooral omdat de wachtrij heel lang was. eenmaal door de poort ( ik dacht dat achter het poortje de afdaling naar de voeten begon) stond nog eens een lange rij wachtende om naar de trappen naar beneden te gaan.
De boot is goedkoper, minder vermoeiend :-) en je kan de 2 beelden aan de zij kant van de grote budha zien die je niet als je binnenin het complex bent.

we rijden door naar zongshi. door dat ik een slechte nacht had, val ik in de auto in slaap. ik word wakker en merk dat we weer in chengdu zijn. Mr P had zijn GPS verkeerd ingesteld. we hadden al een uur geleden moeten aankomen. nu moesten we terugrijden naar het punt van deze ochtend en dan nog verder naar onze bestemming.

the budha of Leshan is gigantesk. First we had bought tickets to go inside the complex but except that you can take a picture close against the head of the budha or at his feet, I advise everyone to take the boat. first and foremost because the queue was very long in the complex to go down to the feet. Once through the gate (I thought behind the gate began the descent towards the feet) was another long queue of people to get  down the stairs .
The boat is cheaper, less tiring :-) and you can see the two statues at the side of the big budha who you're not able to see from inside the complex.
we drive to zongshi. that I had a bad night, I fall asleep in the car. I wake up and notice that we are back in chengdu. Mr P had his GPS set incorrectly. we should had arrive. Now we had to drive back to the point of this morning and then driver further to our destination.
