in shenzhen kan je de eifeltoren en de tai mahal naast elkaar zien staan.

Niet echt slecht gedaan. alleen bizar dat niet alles op dezelfde schaal gemaakt
is. Manneke pis van belgie is op ware grote, de eifeltoren niet maar nog steeds
vrij hoog maar niet ware groote, tai mahal was dan maar 1.5m hoog. We waren
hier de enigste buitenlanders in het gehele park. Wie gaat er ook naar de mini
versie kijken als je alles in het echt kan zien thuis?
naast het park ligt 'splendid china'. (150 RMB per persoon)noem het maar de
miniatuur versie van de highlight van china. in het park besefte ik pas hoeveel
we al gezien hebben van china. buiten Xian ( ik weet dat ik daar nog absoluut
naartoe moet) hebben we zowat alles bezocht wat in splendid china gemaakt was.
als ik de twee parken vergelijk vond ik dat de monumenten in het tweede park
minder mooi afgewerkt waren ( ruwer, kleiner). kan ook dat ik minder van
splendid china heb genoten omdat ik al moe was van het eerste park en ook omdat
het veel en veel te warm was.

Nicely done. just weird that's not all made on the same scale. Manneken pis belgium is full seize, the Eiffel Tower still quite high but not his actual size, tai mahal was only 1.5m high. we were the only foreigners in the entire park. Who's going to look at the mini version as you can see the real thing at home?
next to the park is 'splendid china' . (150 RMB per person) Call it the miniature version of the highlights of china. in the park I realized how much we have already seen from china. Beside Xian (I know I still absolutely have to go) we visited just about everything that was replicated in splendid china.
If I compare the two parks I found that the monuments in the second park were less detailed (rougher, smaller). it also could be that I enjoyed it less because I was tired and also because it was way to much too hot.
