happy birthday

Het Mandarijns is zo al moeilijk genoeg maar nu komt er nog wat bij. Mijn juf had mij al verteld dat de mensen hier in Guangdon niet altijd correct spreken. Het probleem is dat ze de f en h door elkaar haspelen. De ayi en Mr P spreken dus 'ni xifuan ma' ipv 'ni xihuan ma' het leuke is dan nog dat chifan ook bestaat en heel goed lijkt op xifuan. Chinees onder de knie krijgen wordt met de dag onmogelijker
Vandaag was mijn juf jarig. Ik heb happy birthday in het chinees leren zingen. een echte chinese taart gegeten met mokka, chocolade , slagroom en kerstomaten ???
om het feest compleet te maken ; de laatste kerstkaartjes zijn vandaag toegekomen uit Belgie.

 

The Mandarin is already quiet difficult as such but there is an extra difficulty if you are living in Guangdong My teacher alreadt told me that the people in Guangdon not always pronounce the words correctly. The problem is that they mixing up the f and the h. The Ayi and Mr. P talk about  'xifuan ni ma "instead of" ni xihuan ma'  the funny part is that there is also chifan also quite similar to xifuan. Impossible to learn the language this way  
Today was my teacher's birthday. I have learned how to sing happy birthday in chinese. I ate a real chinese cake with mokka, chocolate, whipped cream and cherry tomatoes??
 The last Christmas cards today arrived from Belgium.
